DELIVERY
We will process your order within 2 working days with the exception of sale periods and bank holidays. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
All orders are now delivered with taxes and duties already paid.
- FREE Delivery within the UK (Royal Mail, tracked 24 delivery within 1-2 working days).
- Europe and Canada £30 DHL Express. Tracked and signed delivery within 3-5 working days.
- USA £25 Royal Mail Tracked delivery usually within 7-10 days.
- Rest of World £45 DHL Express. Tracked and signed delivery within 3-5 working days.
We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.
*orders to more remote parts of the UK may take slightly longer to arrive.
INSURANCE
Charl Knitwear insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of delivery (a photograph) as evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Charl Knitwear and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY RETURN?
Yes, unless the item is faulty, as a small business we ask for your understanding that we do need to charge postage costs for return garments.
TAXES AND DUTIES
All orders are now delivered with duties and taxes already paid. You will see a breakdown of costs in your order confirmation email.
RETURNS POLICY
We are happy to offer a refund on any unsuitable items within 28 days of purchase provided that they are unworn (re-saleable) and unwashed condition with the correct invoice, packaging and swing tag still attached. All un-damaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s Apple Pay or Credit Card account including sales taxes for all shipments. International customs duties, shipping costs and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside of the UK.
- You must return the goods by a secure means.
- We strongly recommend you obtain a free ‘Certificate of Posting’ from the Post Office, as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
- We will only refund your return postage costs in the case of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods only, the delivery charge for a replacement to be sent out will not be charged.

Exchanges
There is no charge to exchange items for a different size, however all exchanges are based on stock availability. Shipping is free within the UK on the replacement items, but not for overseas customers.
Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it for a refund and purchase the new piece separately.
Returns Process
For all returns we request that you contact us at : frankie@charlknitwear.co.uk in relation to such returns. Please note that we do not accept liability for goods that are not returned via secure means.
- Take the parcel to the Post Office or arrange collection via a trackable courier service. You will be issued with a receipt and tracking number, which should be retained until the refund is processed.
Upon receipt of the returned items the refund will be credited back onto your payment card. Charl Knitwear will endeavour to process your return within 2 working days.
Cancelling an order
If you would like to cancel your order before you have received the goods please contact us as soon as possible at frankie@charlknitwear.co.uk so that we can attempt to stop delivery. If your order has already been dispatched we will charge you for the delivery as this part of the transaction has been completed.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 were introduced to reduce the risk of shopping online. If you would like to cancel your order under this legislation, please notify us in writing by e-mail within 7 working days after you have received the goods that you wish to cancel your order. You will be asked to return the items in good condition via post.
Refunds
Your refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s card/ Apple Pay account and will only include shipping costs for faulty items.
If your order has been sent to a destination within the UK, all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the UK, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through Charl Knitwear. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.
Please note refunds may take up to 10 business days to complete, depending on their processing time. Unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
