The Charl Knitwear Christmas shop is now open!
As someone who always leaves her Christmas shopping to the last minute, this year has been even more of a rush to get things ready than ever before!
We’ve just entered November and the light has changed once more – the golden glow of September and October has ebbed away and been replaced by frostier silver-grey hues. This reflects on what we wear; the colours we are drawn to.
I always shy away from the gaudy tones of Christmas and much prefer a more sparkly, magical Snow Queen atmosphere for this time of the year. This doesn’t mean all cold greys and blues, but rather some beautiful, subdued pastels.
We’ve been working away behind the scenes to get our on-line Christmas shop ready for you to browse to make the shopping experience simpler! We’ve added lots of new products that make ideal Christmas presents; from a hand knitted in Kenilworth “Breakfast in bed” tea cosy and egg warmer set, to hand knitted leg warmers, cushions, maxi bobble hats and a selection of loungewear knitted in the finest Italian spun cashmere which come in sparkly organic cotton draw string gift bags!
This weekend sees the beginning of our Christmas Fair season with Country Living’s Christmas Fair Country Living UK launched yesterday (Friday 6th Nov) and Pebble Magazine’s FutureFest pebblefuturefest kicks off at 10am today (Saturday 7th Nov). Then on Monday we are very excited to have been selected to exhibit at the Cotswold Fair in collaboration with Daylesford Organic Farm and the charity WellChild (10% of all fair profits will go to this cause). It’s not too late to sign up to any of these events and we will be offering generous discounts/offers across all 3:

Looking further into the festive season we are hoping to exhibit at some real life events in December – in particular the Compton Verney Textile Fair 2020 which is in the process of being postponed from November to December to become part of their larger Christmas programme – provisional new dates are December 11th – 13th but please keep checking their website for updates. To visit this show you will need to buy tickets in advance. We’re keeping our fingers and toes crossed that this will go ahead as planned!
