Mid Autumn Update

Welcome to our Mid-Autumn journal entry!

With the seasons changing, October has been a busy month for Charl: We are very excited to be featured in both Red Magazine and Country Living magazine’s November Issues

We had planned to do a lot of pop events this autumn as this is our debut Autumn season, but due to the current climate many of these events have gone on-line. This has actually proven to be a really interesting and fun change of plan as it has meant that the events will be able to reach a much wider audience – geographically and also to invite speakers and experts from around the world to host talks and discussions on their platforms. We do still have a few “real life” events planned nearer to home in Warwickshire which I am keeping my fingers crossed will be able to take place, but please do check in with me on Social Media for up-dates as things may change quickly!

Here’s a round-up of the first three:

AUTUMN ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR, SATURDAY 31ST OCTOBER 2020 10am – 4pm

EAST CHASE FARM, KENILWORTH CV8 1PR

On Saturday 31st October I will be doing my first “real life” fair! Come and see me to have a quick chat about the collection; where it comes from and what it’s made of and to feel and try on the knits for yourselves! There will be some exclusive additions to the collection, not currently available on-line and some beautiful Christmas present gift sets…

The Autumn Arts and crafts Fair will be situated in the outdoor farmyard of East Chase Farm, which  is a beautiful farm on the outskirts of Kenilworth, surrounded by fields of sheep and horses. There will be a selection of Artisans and Artists showing their work along with a coffee man and cakes and bakes! Fingers’ crossed for dry weather and no change in restrictions!

PEBBLE MAGAZINE’S FUTURE FEST 7&8th NOVEMBER 2020

This fab on-line event will be taking place on 7th and 8th November and offers a complete line-up of talks, workshops, podcasts, music and not least an ethical market where we will have a virtual stand complete with a meet the maker film of me taking you through the collection!

This event is by ticket purchase and costs £7.50 which will give you entry to all events http://www.pebblefuturefest.com/ (there will be 4 stages on both days!) plus the offer codes to all brand taking part in the Ethical Market. Charl Knitwear will be offering 10% off plus free delivery and returns so that you can try your purchases on at home to see how they fit.

The line-up is honestly brilliant with talks on all elements of sustainable living; from inspirational talks and podcasts to cookalongs, mendalongs and a virtual pub! It promises to be a really positive event giving us all hope for a greener future. My fav pics so far are:
