The Winterton Large Striped Triangle Scarf has been knitted in Britain in a nautical Navy and White or Bordeaux and White stripe using the leftover yarn from my production, minimising waste.
This piece was inspired by the scarves or “Roppers” worn by the Norfolk fishermen under the collar of their Ganseys for “Sunday Best”. Generous enough to double as a bandeau top for a modern twist, a shawl, covering your shoulders on a windy day, or a generous neckerchief.
The yarn is a blend of RWS merino (for warmth and softness) and organic cotton for freshness.
Knitted in Nottingham from 54% Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) merino and 46% Organic cotton Italian spun yarn. The merino adds warmth and softness to the cotton.
